Diocesan inspection at St Claudine's
BackWe are delighted to announce that St Claudine’s school recently received the top grade in their Diocesan inspection. These inspections provide the opportunity to support, challenge and promote the work of Catholic Schools. It also enables the Diocese to celebrate with schools their sense of identity and their strengths as Catholic schools.
Inspectors found that ‘St Claudine’s is an extraordinarily warm and welcoming school and is instantly recognisable as as a distinctly Catholic community’. In the teaching of RE they found ‘there is a relentless focus on achieving high outcomes for all pupils regardless of their starting points’.
Pat Murden, DoWAT CEO commented that ‘the trust is immensely proud of St Claudine’s. The school is a truly inclusive and reflective school which serves its local community and lives up to the values of Catholic social teaching.’
